        Location

• a 2.5 to 3 hour drive north of Auckland (note comment below*).
• a 35 minute flight from Auckland to Whangarei airport (Onerahi).  
• 20 minutes drive to/from Onerahi Airport.  
• 25 minutes drive to Whangarei City.
• 10 mins (just a short drive) to Ocean Beach. 
• 1 hour to the beautiful Bay of Islands.

Please be advised that it is recommended for international travellers to stay in Auckland before continuing with their travels (to recover from the long flight), especially for those that are unfamiliar with NZ roads.

*From Auckland airport the drive to The Fish and Jandal could take up to 3 to 3.5 hours, depending on traffic and any road works. We wish you a safe drive.
